Kindly note that the BANKSETA has opened a funding window for Higher Education Bursaries for the 2023/24 financial year.
The Higher Education Funding Window grant application opens on Wednesday, 01 February 2023 and closes on Friday, 17 March 2023 at 23:59
Kindly note that all applications should be submitted in electronic format (softcopy) to:
- Higher Education Funding Window 2023/2024 (hefw2022@bankseta.org.za)
Upon submission, please ensure to:
- Email each application for funding separately.
- Submission will consist of one document only: the application form duly completed.
- Ensure timeous submission of all emails to the nominated email address as emails received past the due date and the applicant will not consider time regardless of the time send.
- Index the email as follows in the Subject Line: Name of Institution Learning Category and Number of Learners
The closing date and time for Higher Education Funding Window Applications is 23:59 on 17th March 2023.

The Electronic submission of learner agreements is required only for approved for funding applications within one month after signing the MOA. All signatories are welcome to sign and initial learner agreements electronically. Please do not submit any agreements until you have received funding approval. Further information in this regard will be sent for approved programs. |

This project funds bursaries within the respective learning institutions/entities that address broader banking and microfinance -related skills (such as business and commercial faculties or information technology departments etc.).
