Tsidi graduated from Wits University with a BA degree majoring in Psychology and English. She has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration through the Gordon Institute of Business Science

Current Work Description:

Tsidi Lebenya is the Regional Director, FNB Public Sector Banking in Mpumalanga. Her responsibility is managing relationships between the bank and provincial and local government in the province, identify opportunities and translate them into profitable business and form strategic partnerships which would benefit the government and the bank.

Business Credentials and Skills:

She has extensive experience in building and managing relationships, lobbying and networking at senior levels both in government and the private sectors. Some of the achievements that she has had in the past two years have been the retention of the Mpumalanga Provincial government and Legislature and acquisition of Ehlanzeni District Municipality accounts. Her portfolio of local government takes up over 50% of the provincial market share.

Tsidi has also played a major role on behalf of the bank in collaborating with the government on one of their flagship projects, Heritage, Greening Mpumalanga and Tourism, whose success will contribute significantly in Mpumalanga’s history and stimulating tourism in the province. She is currently serving on the board of the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency.

Born in the Eastern Cape, her home is in a small town called Dutywa. She is the youngest of two sisters, has one surviving parent, her mother and a daughter. She is also an emerging golfer. “I enjoy the sport, and it is one of the things I hope to make time for”
