Lebogang Alaardt graduated from the University Pretoria with a B. Library and Information Science (B.Bibl) degree in 1998. Her post graduate studies include B.Bibl (Hons) and Masters in Information Technology (M.IT) through the University of Pretoria. She has further acquired certificates in Web Design and Management, Consulting skills, Project Management and Report Writing. She is currently busy with her Leadership Certificate through the Da Vinci Institute for Technology Management.
Current Work Description:
Lebogang is a Content Manager within Standard Bank South Africa Corporate and Investment Banking. Her responsibilities include defining a strategy around organizing and managing the Bank’s unstructured information, Sourcing the right system to manage the information, Defining the principles, policies and processes around managing information as well as ensuring proper implementation of the defined strategy, principles, policies and processes within the bank.
Business Credentials and Skills:
Lebogang Alaardt has gathered a lot of experience in the field of information and knowledge management. She was involved in defining Knowledge Management strategy for the Defense Enterprise Architecture Service’s Unit of the State Information Technology Agency. She has also been involved in the development of a Content Management strategy for First National Bank (Retail). She also provided Consulting services to the Corporate HR unit of Standard bank South Africa on knowledge management issues. In using her knowledge and expertise in the knowledge and information management field Lebogang Played a key role in defining a knowledge management strategy of the National Productivity Institute (SA) where she held a position as a Knowledge Manager.
