Bo Mahole graduated from the University of the North West with a B Juris degree in 1988. She obtained her post graduate LLB degree in 1994 from the same university. In 2006 she successfully completed Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) for senior managers through GIBS Business School.
Current Work Description:
Bo Mahole is a Manager: Group Forensic Services (GFS) (Transactional Fraud) at Nedbank. Her responsibilities include managing a team of investigators by:
- Deciding if cases reported to
GFS warrants investigating
- Allocating cases for
investigations
- Monitoring their daily output
- Monitoring the MIS processes
- Managing the case time-frames
- Managing the investigation
process in terms of the application of methodologies
- Checking and vetting of the
investigation reports
- Managing the finalisation of
cases
- Managing cases reported via
anonymous tip-offs line
- Helping to identify areas of recovery where the business have suffered loss
Business Credentials and Skills:
Bo Mahole uses her legal qualifications and her collective prosecution and management experience in ensuring that equitable decisions regarding complaint resolutions and systems weaknesses are objectively identified and the remedial recommendations are made and addressed. She is an admitted advocate in the High Court of South Africa and a member of South African Chapter of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

- To further develop my
knowledge of operational risk management in the
financial sector
- Incorporating my
understanding of the roles of management and
leadership and using of appropriate leadership
behavior.
- To enhance my knowledge and
skills in effectively managing how to recognize
underlying causes of conflict and knowing when to
intervene and still ensuring that the experience is
mutually beneficial to everyone involved.

interpret corporate and project finances in order to
successfully guide the course of business
- To be fully individually equipped to survive in a complex world and succeed in fundamental daily functioning
Personal Information:
Bo Mahole is a one of the eight
children. She is the youngest of the six daughters and
has two brothers. She is a single mother of a teenage
son, Morolong.
