BANKSETA Lifelong Learning Initiatives are a unique skills development mechanism designed specifically to assist SME's in the sector with ensuring they remain up to date with all legislative developments pertinent to their professional operations. These workshops are offered free of charge to all registered BANKSETA SME stakeholders. The topics include content which SMEs can apply to their own businesses. The workshops are typically designed at a level suitable for a post-graduate employee and more senior employees are very welcome to attend, but should bear in mind the level at which the courses are pitched when registering. These structured information sharing sessions are occupationally directed instructional programmes which are not usually formally assessed. BANKSETA introduced Life Long Learning Initiatives to the SME Sector in 2005.
